MINALCON is a mining business improvement consultancy specializing in evaluating, benchmarking, advice and implementation of sustainable improvements for open pit mining applications.

The company was founded in 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary of TACMIN (PTY) LTD by Sarel Blaauw, currently the CEO of TACMIN and former director of South African contract mining company MCC CONTRACTS (PTY) LTD.

MINALCON's strategy is to assist mining clients to turn existing projects into safe, productive cost efficient mining applications, through nurturing relationships in an environment of trust and flexibility. The qualitative reasons given for taking this path are to facilitate innovation, better collaboration on strategic planning and optimising skill sharing, resulting in better value for money.

The objective of MINALCON is to become an integral part of our Client's business by building strong trust-based relationship and thereby afford the Client the opportunity to draw from a wide variety of skilled and qualified personnel across various disciplines without having them on their payroll as permanent employees.

Our Clients are serviced worldwide from our head office located in Bryanston, with future expansions in different geographical areas planned.
